I'm sitting here at about 5 in the morning, not able to sleep, which of course could have something to do with the fact that Madison and I both fell asleep at 8:30 last night. I think of coming on here all the time to post something that has happened during the day, but just can never seem to find the time.
I applaud all those out there who make the time to post everyday. After realizing that it got me to thinking about that phrase "make time" and even "take time". I wondered how in the world do you actually do that.
I have a suspicion if people could actually make time or take time, all of us would have some little bag hidden away in our closets with "time" in them. Could you imagine all those times that you've said, "I need just 5 more minutes"? Oh, wait let me run to my supply and "take" some. Those of us who would "make" it, just have some recipe lying around in case we needed to make it. Add a little of this, simmer and voila some "time".
I know, my mind goes off on weird tangents sometimes, who can explain it. Some people have tried. I don't think it can ever be explained.
On another note, Spring is trying to break through here. It's been in the high 50's and low 60's for the past few days. Funny how those temps used to make me pull out a sweater, but now they make me take them off because it feels so warm. All relative I guess, and I guess although I do miss the warmth of the south, I have really become accustomed to the seasons Maine offers. So far, Spring seems to be my favorite. Pictures will follow soon of the flowers that are beginning to poke through the recently snow covered ground.
This picture is what I found last time I turned on the camera to use it. Too funny.
